Symptoms of Pelvic Pain

Pelvic pain can manifest in different ways and be a symptom of various conditions or diseases. Most often, pelvic pain is characterized by the following symptoms:

Constant or intermittent pain: This may be sharp or dull pain felt in the pelvic area.

Pain may radiate: Often, the pain spreads to the lower back, hips, or even the abdomen.

Intensity: Pelvic pain may worsen with physical activity, prolonged sitting, or standing.

Associated symptoms: Sometimes it may be accompanied by other symptoms such as urinary disorders, menstrual changes in women, or sexual dysfunction.

Pelvic pain could be caused by various reasons, such as infections, inflammatory diseases, endometriosis, problems with pelvic organs, or even stress and psychological tension.
